Ilse is an all-round strategic communications professional, who helps businesses secure their license to operate by effectively building and maintaining trusted relations with key stakeholders. Throughout her international career, Ilse worked and lived in Brussels, the USA and the Netherlands. During her 20+ years’ experience, she spent over 15 years in senior corporate affairs roles, covering the full spectrum of corporate communications from public affairs, corporate and (crisis) media relations, CSR and community engagement, to employee engagement and executive positioning.   

Ilse is driven by impact. Her solid business acumen and track record of activating integrated communications strategies to drive business results, both from an internal and agency perspective, enables her to be a true sparring partner for company executives, as well as helping corporate communicators engage with all stakeholders in a relevant and meaningful way.    

Her sector expertise in communications spans (renewable) energy, petrochemical (upstream & downstream), mobility & transportation, heavy industries and industrial services, semiconductor industry, hydrogen and fuel cell technology and sustainability.  

Anouk joined Edelman Amsterdam in August 2007. As Associate Director with an extensive expertise in health she is responsible for managing client contact & consulting and development of creative, digital and strategic communication marketing plans. Anouk has a thorough understanding of the healthcare landscape and she understands what drives patients, healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.    

Her expertise is in developing integrated marketing communication programs, corporate narrative building and storytelling, employee engagement, content development, crisis preparedness, media training and conducting qualitative research. Anouk works for various global pharmaceutical and biotech companies and an organisation for medical professionals.   

 Anouk is co-author of a book for medical professionals about Growth Hormone Treatment Adherence in paediatric and adult patients. Also, because of her professional experience in virology and HIV, she is volunteering as a writer for a HIV patient community magazine.   

Tara Schuh is an Associate Director for Edelman with more than 16 years of healthcare experience in New York, London and Amsterdam.  Her strong global experience, coupled with her knowledge in both internal and external communications, patient advocacy, media relations, product launches, storytelling, digital communications, and regulatory experience make her an extremely adaptable communications professional, working across cultures and borders.   

Tara has supported clients across a wide range of disease areas (and products) including GI, Women’s Health, CNS, Anti-Infectives, Hepatitis B, Oncology, Respiratory, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Diabetes. Her Rx experience includes multi-market disease awareness campaigns, communicating regulatory milestones, issues management, including product withdrawals, internal communications, and the development of communication toolkits for local markets.  

Before coming to Edelman, Tara also worked for payer organizations, non-profits health organizations, as well as other large global PR agencies like Ogilvy and Fleishman-Hillard, always with a focus on health, well-being and the pharmaceutical industry.  

For the German Alzheimer Forschung Initiative, our Creative Directors Marco Serra and Marcos Alves, created an emotional immersive film called “The Glitch”, showing how Alzheimer’s patients' memories and moments glitch creating a chaotic scary world. A Grand Prix in Film Craft at the New York Festivals, and many other awards.
