AJ Hesselink is the General Manager of Edelman Amsterdam.
He has held international leadership positions in several global blue chip companies and worked in Europe, Asia and the U.S.
Trained as a journalist and political scientist, he started off in international financial journalism but later moved to Royal Philips, where he held a string of international marketing leadership roles including CMO for Asia Pacific and global head of media relations.
He joined Edelman in March 2016 and is driven by a strong desire to deliver outstanding, truly integrated communications marketing work to clients.
Chi-Lun is the Finance Director at Edelman Amsterdam.
He was responsible for Finance & Control at a leading national newspaper for almost a decade before joining the local Management Team in 2013.
Steve is Edelman Amsterdam’s Chief Client Officer and drives forward Edelman’s commitment to client service and leads the design and implementation of communications marketing programs for key clients.
Before joining the firm in 2015, he was head of corporate communications at eBay and previously held roles at McDonald’s and several global PR agencies.
Raymond leads Edelman Amsterdam’s Digital team.
Raymond is a 20-year digital veteran with wide-ranging experience. Before joining Edelman in 2015, Raymond worked for global digital agencies like Tribal DDB & IPG Mediabrands and international brands like Tele2 & Liberty Global.
He supports clients through deliverables that vary from digital campaigns and online presences to enriching client products with big data.
Eeva is Client and Content Lead for Edelman Amsterdam’s Business-to-Business clients. As a corporate communications professional, who thrives in international, fast-paced environments, she advises a broad range of multinationals in their integrated communications marketing programs.
Before joining the firm in 2017, Eeva spent a decade at Philips in various senior communications positions. Before that she held communications and marketing roles at KPMG International and Ricoh Europe.
Margriet is Client and Content lead of all B2C activities at Edelman Amsterdam. Margriet is an 11-year Edelman veteran and passionate about consumer brands. She strives to provide clients with top-of-the-line integrated marketing and communication programs, with a creative heart and earned at the core.
Margriet has extensive experience with consumer brands in Food & Beverages, Health, Technology & Lifestyle. Before Edelman, Margriet lead event management for the University of Utrecht.
Lauren is Client and Content Lead of all healthcare, technology and health tech activities at Edelman Amsterdam. Lauren is an experienced international communications professional with a deep appreciation for and experience in communications for the tech industry and start-ups.
She started her career with leading agencies in the US servicing predominately tech clients like Microsoft. Lauren moved to the Netherlands in 1999 with JWT/ Imagio. Following a stint in Switzerland for B2B technology companies such as Micro Focus, Cognizant and AGT, Lauren has been active in the Netherlands in the tech-start-up scene and also worked as a consultant. She is passionate about technology and is well versed on the impact it has on other sectors including healthcare.
Sabina leads the HR department for Edelman in Amsterdam.
She has more than 10 years’ experience in the field and started her career at Edelman in 1997.
Sabina ensures that Edelman has the right talent to deliver top-notch client work, and for creating an environment and culture in which our people maximize the use of their abilities and develop themselves both professionally and personally.
Martijn is Head of Integrated Strategy & Planning and leads the newly formed Edelman Integrated Marketing Solutions capability.
From a young age, he’s been developing and selling ideas. That’s probably why he enjoys the strange combination of economics and arts in school. After studying Interaction Design at School for the Arts in Utrecht he took his first deep dive into the world of commercial creativity.
Martijn has two decades of award winning marketing experience, starting at Leo Burnett before setting up his own consultancy Dynamic Zone and several ventures following that. He joined Edelman because he believes we have entered the age in which integrated, creative marketing approaches are the best way forward to achieve amazing results.
Wieteke is Chief Operations Officer at Edelman Amsterdam.
With over 14 years of experience, she is focused on bringing the right teams together to service clients, ensure quality and the development and growth of consultants. Her management role is complemented with client supervision, strategic counsel and the development of communications marketing programs.
As team member of the Edelman Worldwide Crisis Network, she also advises organizations in all aspects of crisis management and preparedness.
